Although not originally in the insulation business, over the past 15 years constructing energy efficient systems for homes and buildings we have witnessed time and time again poor performance and the breakdown of building envelopes. This has mostly been due to antiquated insulating techniques and products. This has resulted in everything from higher energy costs, poor comfort levels, leakage and mold growth.
