Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs

There are several Energy Efficiency Rebate programs throughout the state that can help you in paying for your insulating project. Healthy Home Inc. is a Massachusetts licensed contractor providing weatherization services. Call the Massachusetts DTE helpline at 1 (866) 527-SAVE (toll free) to find out who will provide an audit and get specific information on the incentives offered by your utility company.

NSTAR Weatherization Rebate
Thinking about adding wall insulation, attic insulation or air sealing to your home? If so, you might be eligible for rebates up to $2,000 from NSTAR for such home upgrades. Call 800-266-3517 for more information.

The program provides a rebate covering 75% of the cost. Rebates will be capped at $2,000 per customer account per calendar year.


National Grid Weatherization Rebate
Designed to help cut energy costs, National Grid's Weatherization Program can make your home more energy efficient year round. With some simple, easily installed measures, your heating and cooling systems will be more effective, so you'll reduce energy consumption. Which means you'll save on heating costs in the winter, as well as cooling in the hot summer months. And your home will be comfortable year round.

All measures must be completed between 9/1/2008 and 7/31/2009 to qualify. All rebate requests must be postmarked no later than 8/31/2009. With the help of our rebate programs, these valuable home improvements become much more affordable for you. The program provides a rebate covering 75% of the cost, up to $2,000.

A federal tax credit may be available for 30% of the cost of insulation, up to $1,500. For more information, please click here.
